Who is behind VisualizeUs?
VisualizeUs is developed and maintained by Victor Espigares, a Spanish software engineer who loves photography.
The project has a clear garage philosophy: the first version of the site, released on October 2007, took the investment of about five months of spare time, including of course a bunch of sleepless nights and two weeks of holidays. And thank God it wasn't developed from scratch!
Here you can see his favorite pictures in VisualizeUs and his photography portfolio.
Many thanks
There are a lot of people who deserve to be thanked for their support, but this project wouldn't be possible without the open-source philosophy, so these ones are more than owed: Marcus Campbell for the Scuttle Project, in which VisualizeUs was initially based; Cody Lindley for the Thickbox script; Mark James, creator of the famous FAMFAMFAM Silk Icons; Komodo Media, for the Social Sign In Buttons; and Jos Buivenga, creator of the Fertigo font used in the logo.
Thanks to everyone else who supported this project, in one way or another: thank you so much. VisualizeUs wouldn't be possible without that support either.
